Deeper State of meditation...

I experienced something very different during my meditation last night. First of all I did not sit down to meditate. I got up to feed my baby and as I was rocking her back to sleep I felt something utterly amazing. The moment I would close my eyes I would start seeing pulsating colours in front of me. I have experienced this before but only after concentrating and being in meditation for half an hour or so. This signals the out of body journey of the astral body. I put her down next to me in bed, didn't want her to fall. I closed my eyes and said my mantra. I let the energy be my guide. Soon I felt going deeper in meditation. Till now, during meditation, I could hear whatever was going on around me. I could not respond to it but I was conscious of my surroundings. This time I couldn't hear a thing. I lost all concept of time and place. I could see a band of colours across the sky. As I went further I came across complete darkness. No colours, no form, no tunnel, nothing, just vast pitch black darkness. I was just there. I have no feeling of floating, no feeling of movement, no feeling of warmth. NOTHING. Just being there. I don't know how else to describe it. After a while I felt as if I was zooming closer to a huge blue light. It was a blue circle. I passed through it and then felt as if it was the end of this session and I should get up now. Normally I am jolted out of my sessions by any one of my kids or the phone, some one else. This kind of complete feeling wasn't something I had experienced before. It was as if I was called to be some where and once it got over it was going home time. I got up and checked my clock. Two hours had passed. Two hours ! Next morning I called up my guru and as usual asked for an explanation. She told me that we are made up of 7 bodies!! The one which we see, the one which did all this astral travel till now and this third one that left my body for the first time last night. This feeling beyond time and space comes when this third body leaves us as well. Hmmm... too much too fast. I will read up more about this concept of 7 bodies and post it later. More surprise was yet to come when my guru called me the next day......

7 bodies? I can't wait to hear about that!

I've been reading a couple things in your blog and i really like it. I'll definately be following along closely.

What interests me is that you achieved this so suddenly, this "nothingness." For me it takes a while, atleast half an hour, before i can even reach a state like that.

Thanks dreamer,
I will write about the seven bodies as soon as possible.

Last night I woke up three times with an energy field feeling surrounding me, I should take advantage of it and let myself drowned into it instead of resisting it and redirect it to relax and sleep again. I talked to two people last week and yesterday via the internet, I never talked to them before, though yesterday I recalled the conversations and I had the gut feeling that I already knew about the content of it before I talked to them...I recalled even the dress and the face, it was like Déjà Vu. Last night I sent them an email and asked them if we talked before.
I am a believer because I experienced the tunnel too therefore I wish to contribute in a way or another to your efforts of keeping your blog flowing with your interesting experiences, for instance I wish to sent you $100 via Western Union, I mean if other writers get paid for writing all kind of Meditation or Self Hypnosis books helping others, I believe it would be OK for you to accept my offer too, if you do not want to keep it for yourself than you can give it to your mother or your Guru, etc. I need a valid name in order to send you the money via Western Union money transfer and your city then I will give you a code, here if you wish or email it to you, so you can withdraw the money, if this is your name from your blog that matches your ID card then I will use this name. You can give me any name; in that case that person has to withdraw the money because he/she will be asked of an Identification card…hey even the priests are paid. Lots of love, God Bless, Octavian

Dear Dear Octavian,
Thanks so much for your offer but I cannot accept it. I am so happy with the acceptance, the belief and the trust you have put in me and my writings, this is ALL that I need. In fact I never ever thought that I would get such lovely response from so many lovely people. I am humbled and grateful. Just keep giving your valuable feed back. And next time I tell you the time do sit down to meditate as the energy send to you that day came back unused( as per my guru). I don't have enough experience to do anything of this sort.God bless you. Keep up the good work.

Dear Dear Dear Anuradha,
If you do not want to accept it, it is OK there is nothing else I can do; I was thinking of the amount of time and energy you put in writing for the benefit of so many other people, some people are too shy to write a comment, I am sure that everybody loves your blog, other people need a “push” to get out from their procrastination. There are so many positive changes in the World, there is an European Union now, tomorrow will be a World Union, the way of thinking expands and we all search to understand the Mind of God, therefore if the help comes from India so be it...the Indians are intelligent and peaceful people. You said “next time I tell you the time do sit down to meditate as the energy send to you that day came back unused( as per my guru)” I will check periodically this deeper State of Meditation blog to find the time and other recommendations. Thank you and lots of love , Octavian

Dear Anuradha is there on our body certain points of energy that can be enhanced using a simple press-puncture method, and help us sink faster into a deeper meditation state, for instance pressing our temples on both sides of the head, etc? Ask your mother she might be aware of such a thing, or she might find out. I know that you suggested that we should visually concentrate on the third eye. I remember that before I found myself in the tunnel I felt like a breeze on my body, and the hair stood on end, it was not a transition, I just felt myself the next moment, all of a sudden in the tunnel…I wish to experiment that again. You mentioned that “next time I tell you the time do sit down to meditate as the energy send to you that day came back unused “, my question is, do you think that I was able to get in the tunnel because just happen to get energy from an unknown source, and I used it? Would be awesome if I would know when that kind of energy is available so I can use it, it must be a way to feel it or to know it, like your mother does. I mean you can get from the point A to point B walking or driving with speed…it looks like I am walking…lots of love Octavian.

Dear Octavian,
This is experience of yours is awsome. I felt a breeze too when I was in the black tunnel!!. Yes you can use any type of cosmic energy as long as your receptor is on. When we start our meditation we recite our guru mantra. The reason behind this is...its like a key with which you can open the banked energy of your guru. How much does it cost to travel to India? You wanted to send me $100, why don't you add to that and make a trip here to meet my guru if you are so serious about meditation. I remember people coming from Germany and Australia to meet my dad after reading his book.

Dear Anuradha,
Of course I wish to come, just that my mother is very old, my father died 12 years ago, my in-laws are very old too, and in the last three years I spent my vacation to be with them in Romania, you know what I mean. I left Romania when it was ruled by communists and I could not visit my relatives, I could do it only after the revolution, thanks God because I still had time to see my father alive, talk to him, hug him and after less than one year he died. After the revolution I had a TV interview in my home town, and it was shown on the air about 3 months before my father died, my mother told me that he watched me for the last time on TV and he was happy. My mother is living in Romania with my brother and my wife's parents with her brother in a different town.
You said that before you start your meditation, you recite your guru mantra. Can you write your mantra for us? How long time you repeat the mantra before you let your body drift in deeper?

Anuradha malik Jagdhari said...

Sure Octavian....the mantra is 'OM NAMAH SHIVAYA'. Shiva being closest to the heart of both of them...I mean my parents.

Thoughtscape said...

Wow, it sounds great, what is the meaning of this mantra in English? Is the letter H in NAMAH mute (like the H your name) or not? You do the mantra with a loud voice concentrating to your third eye or just you say the mantra in your mind, can I do it only in my mind? I used to meditate laying on the bed, or sitting in the sofa, when I drifted to the tunnel I was on my sofa, how do you meditate and your favorite position? You said that your child was in your arms when once you drifted, it is good that the noise or other people around you do not distract you in any way.

Anuradha malik Jagdhari said...

Dear Octavian,
This mantra simply means I bow to you oh shiva. The 'H' isn't silent just soft. You can offcourse say it in your mind. I do that too. I usually lie down on my back but initially we were told to sit with our backs as straight as possible so a firm chair will do better than a sofa.Having no distractions around you is a good idea. I do not try meditation with my babies around me, but sometimes I have no choice. The rush of energy is too much to ignore. Meditation just happens on its own.

Hi Anuradha,

Very nice post.. Like you, I also am a firm believer in meditation. Normally when I meditate, I usually see a purple light with tiny white dots (they look like stars twinkling very far way).

If you don't mind me asking, can you tell me the name of your guru.

-OM

What you have experienced is accurately what happens in Lucid Dreaming. It is called Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming. Search for it on Google, you will get what I'm talking about. I don't know whether you already know by now whether what it is. But your precise explanation is what happens in Lucid Dreaming. It's a very wonderful experience. Also search for Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming. Meditation helps in Having more Lucid Dreams, which you already are good at. So it is no wonder it was so easy for you. Anyways your blog is really good. I really liked it.
