The Crystal road...

Last night after my family went off to bed I sat down to meditate. I went to the open terrace to mediate under the clear sky. It was really cold and the air was crisp. I must have been in meditation for quiet a while because my knees were complaining. I suddenly found my self in a beautiful place. I was standing on a road made of crystal. It was smooth and transparent. The sides of this road were made of uncut crystal. Every thing around me was glowing and shimmering. I could see crystal as far as I could. In distant horizon I could make out something very big made out of crystal as well. The colour beyond all this crystal was shades of blue. As I was walking on this road I heard my guide after a long while. I just remember a few words here and there. Cannot recall completely what I was being told. He said some thing about four planes, one being this crystal road. I remember two more words, malkooth and horous....this is how they sounded to me. I will do some research work tonight to find out what exactly was happening to me. May be these words will act like the key to open this mysterious lock.

Good evening from the UK, and thank you for visiting my blog and your kind words. (I have to confess that I did do six years of art training at college, and without my excellent teachers I would be nothing!)
I am really interested in your meditation experiences, I have often wondered about trying it - I guess that as with anything it takes many years to achieve your kind of experience? I am intrigued by the visual aspect you describe, as an artist it would be wonderful to be able to go deeper inside me. I will be coming back!

I wish I were a painter, if I could make lovely paintings like you can, I could put in colour all that I have been seeing.I have been practicing meditation for two years now.

Hi Anuradha,
I am fascinated by your crystal road meditation because Sharani, my spiritual name given by my guru Sri Chinmoy means "the road that leads to the highest destination of divinity." He was Bengali and it also the literal word for road in Bengali. I do hope you write more about this experience as its teachings unfold.

Hello Anuradha,

You will probably find that Horus was the falcon headed god of ancient Egypt.

Hmmm

Could the raven have been a falcon?

I got an e-mail from Blog catalog that led me to your blog. Nice meditative space here! Blogs like these also trigger meditation which in my experience ultimately happens anywhere.

Very intresting. Do you see all these things as clearly as we things in every day world or do they appear any different ?

Dear Anuradha,

Talking about miracles, isn’t it true that the discovery of the Internet is a miracle? I mean you just go there do a research and VoilĂ ! you can find the keys to open mysterious locks then share your findings with the rest of us... mmm. I believe in miracles only when everybody, without exception, benefit from them otherwise I see them just as Science Fiction. Blessings, Octavian

Hi Mukesh,
Sometimes they are as clear as you and see this world other times they are more fleeting, not unclear by kind of fading away quickely.

You might want to read something about symbolism that Jung has written...though this particular one you have managed to interpret through some sustained googling already :)

Anuradha malik Jagdhari said...

I still might want to read it.

Jung is an expert on symbolism...especially those related to mythology and ancient religious rituals. The subject, the way he handles it is esoteric and his style a little too detailed but some may find it interesting.

I know a little about Carl Gustav Jung....I studied psychology for 5 years in college.

I think you will need to excuse me while I extricate my by now tender appendage from my by now sore buccal cavity! Well do you agree Jung is pertinent in the interpretation of your visions of the metaphysical?
